Quaker Quilts: Monkey Wrench
Cross stitch chart
Traditionally styled Quaker motifs are laid out in the framework of a classic patchwork quilt block called the Monkey Wrench. Some quilters may also know this block as the Churn Dash, but I've always thought Monkey Wrench to be the cooler name.
It's stitched in 4 shades of Carrie's thread and would be adaptable to a variety of palettes. A DMC conversion is provided. The beautiful pale green linen shown is 32 count Tundra by Lakeside Linens
193 x193 stitch count.
